Steven M Katz, Owner Steven is the founding member of the firm.He has a lovely wife Stephanie and 2 children, Ashlun and Nicholas. A graduate of the University of Maryland, he is a life member of The Frederick Noon Sertoma Club and is also a member of the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Steven has been practicing in Frederick for 23 years with extensive experience in tax and financial planning. Sarah Gilbert, Senior Accountant Sarah has been working with Steve since 1984 primarily in the business accounting area. She has extensive experience working with business owners and their accounting staffs. Her main objective is to assist you in streamlining your accounting functions and provide timely service. Dorothy Hopkins-Lippy, Staff Accountant Dottie joined the firm in 1993 and has a variety of duties. In addition to payroll preparation for our clients, she performs monthly accounting services and financial statement preparation for most of our business clients. She also assists in preparing individual and Corporate Tax returns during the busy Tax Season. Teresa Kaas, Administrative Assistant Teresa joined the firm in August of 2003. Her smile will greet you in our reception area and she is the friendly voice answering your phone calls. She handles invoicing, assembles client documents for delivery, maintains supplies and takes care of various other tasks around the office. During our busy season, January thru April, she also processes the majority of the individual and corporate returns.
